The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for driving quality through engineering excellence, automation, and continuous integration practices. You will design and implement automated test frameworks, integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with developers to prevent defects before they reach production. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of testing, software engineering, and DevOps.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing
Develop robust automated test suites using modern languages and tools (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable feedback loops
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes, improve testability, and prevent defects
Define quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Perform performance, load, or reliability testing as needed
Review code, contribute to architectural discussions, and champion automation-first practices
Mentor junior engineers on automation, tooling, and quality engineering principles
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering
Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD systems
Deep understanding of testing strategies for distributed systems, APIs, and modern web/mobile apps
Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practices
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to influence engineering teams and drive quality improvements across the organization
